What do you do to cheer yourself when you are feeling down? My “old reliables” when I’m looking for inspiration include spending time in nature and reading words of inspiration. Better yet, how about grabbing a book and sitting on a park bench under a shade tree to read? Heavenly!
There is something about the natural world that makes me feel more connected. I’m mindful of the grass and trees, with the blue sky above. I listen to the bird song and the crickets chirp. So many things to hear and observe in the space of sitting, but there it is, and I know I am part of it.
If inspirational words and nature inspire you, then you’ll love 365 Life Shifts: Pivotal Moments That Changed Everything released today by DandiLove Unlimited. It’s full of inspirational words to help you reflect on your life purpose, open up to receive, and find the beauty in everyday moments — even the difficult ones.
I was lucky enough to publish three pieces in this anthology. What did I write about? Dancing trees, the power of synchronicity, and overcoming fear. All true stories from my life that I share with love.
What Inspires Me
In “For the Love of Trees” I share how humbled I was by the beautiful dancing oaks in the front yard of my San Antonio, Texas home. It’s a moment of oneness that I feel where I am the student and the trees, my teacher. Jump to San Diego, California, and you have my story “The Why of Synchronicity” where I write about a young man looking to build a future with his soon-to-be bride. When the topic of our discussion shows up right in front of us, we are both delighted by the synchronicity! Finally, join me on the dance floor when in “Pushing Through Fear” I face a fight or flight scenario — metaphorically speaking!
This is a great book to carry around when you have a moment here or there. Or leave it on your desk for when you need a quick pick-me-up! And if you are looking for even more inspiration, with your order of 365 Life Shifts, you will also receive 70+ bonus gifts from contributing authors. All you need to do to claim your gifts is go here after you order your book from Amazon. It’s that easy!
